Anchored by the early moderne/late art deco-inspired brick apartment building, the new additions take cues from this style incorporating rounded edges, nautical elements, flat roofs, subdued colours and smooth exterior wall. Designed for two families with individual needs, the flexibility of internal planning was key, whilst ensuring the inherent symmetry and character of the existing building is proudly represented externally.
